The Hadaf Mining Company is a leading supplier of High Purity Quartz (HPQ), with a primary focus on mining high purity quartz in Eastern Afghanistan. Our high purity quartzite layers are found within the garnet-biotite schist formations.
It is relatively easy to find quartz deposits throughout the world, as quartz is widely dispersed in nature. However, finding pure quartz that meets the high-purity quartz’s purity levels of SiO2 exceeding 99.98% is exceedingly rare.
We are fortunate to have access to large and high purity metamorphic quartzite deposits, also known as fused silica or silicon dioxide. Due to the industrial revolution of semiconductors, HPQ has been recognized as Strategic Emerging Industries Materials, as it is the primary source of monocrystalline silicon, polysilicon, quartz glass, optical fiber, solar cells, and integrated circuit boards.
Our high purity quartz possesses characteristics that render it suitable for diverse industrial applications, spanning electronics, semiconductors, photovoltaic cells, optical fiber, quartz lighting, and solar panels. These properties include a high melting point, chemical inertness, low thermal expansion, and inherently elevated purity. From the extraction of raw materials to the final product, our quartz stands out for its exceptional qualities.
